Meditation

To understand the immeasurable, the mind has to be quite, peaceful.

In our everyday life we are constantly preoccupied with sensory stimulations, thinking, analyzing, feeling, doing all kinds of thought activities; we are never truly calm, we are often in a hurry, under stress, filled with constant internal drumming. However, seemingly totally random, we are sometimes going to achieve a state of a lowly mind, devoid of thoughts. It all happened to us to relax, looking at the beautiful sunset, allowing our thoughts to be silenced, which is close to meditation. Even when we leave for a moment while reading a book and just sit quietly and silently for a few minutes without thinking, it is also something like a meditation. In these brief moments when our mind is not reflective, not busy with any thoughts, when we are only at the present moment, we come very close to that "I" or (in other words) we put ourselves in the center of our "I". And this connection with our own brings us peace, happiness and joy. Although only for a moment, our mind becomes calm, steady and focused.

Meditation is a systematic way of achieving the before mentioned casual or occasional encounters with one's own, in order to permanently obtain their benefits.

Meditation, if done regularly, can do wonders. Here are some of the basic benefits that you can get with regular meditation:

  • Focusing on the current moment and control of the mind and emotions
  • Understanding the action- reaction relationships between thoughts, attitudes, impressions, feelings, body conditions, and behaviors.
  • Changed attitude to life, gratitude for the good deeds of others, enjoying the small moments of happiness.
  • A clear view of the broader perspective instead of focusing on small everyday problems.
  • Accepting all things that are not as they would like to be.
  • Understanding the rest of the people.
  • Improved internal ability to solve complex problems
  • Relieving stress.
  • Increased concentration, self esteem, spontaneity, creativity and awareness.

And much, much more ...

In addition, with the regular application of deep breathing, deep relaxation and physical exercises in our lives, we can build a solid foundation for further health and an abundance of physical and psychic energy. Regardless of how busy we are in everyday life, with the help of these three things, we will not only be able to cope easily with life's challenges, but also to provide constant spiritual development through regular meditation.

There are different types of meditation:

  • Meditation on Twin Hearts
  • Meditation of the Blue Pearl
  • 'Here and now' Meditation
  • Vipassana
